Sunday 13th, Members Training Courses

9am - Full OOD/AOOD training course - please arrive for 9:00-9:30am and report to the Race Box.

1pm sharp  - Full Rescue Boat Helm & Crew Training Course, and report to Alec Mumford. (please be ready and in full wet gear)

 

Just a reminder for you all.

Next Saturday (12th) is the ASC Annual New Members Day.  It's the one day a year that we throw our doors open to the general public. 

All the usual club facilities will be open so why not take advantage.  The galley will be open, the rescue boats will be on the water, so why not get sailing for the day?

The idea of the day is to bring in the general public and show them what we have to offer.  We'll be displaying several different makes/types of dinghies, and some our more experienced sailors will be on hand, and we'll be giving rescue boat rides to the kids.

So - why not help us spread the word, bring along your friends, and show them what we all get up to at the weekends.

We'll be open to the public between 10am - 4pm, and we're open to all ages.

Due to popular demand, the official dinghy handicaps as published by the RYA for 2012 are now listed on the "Race Results" page of this site. 

Hi all,  Just a gentle reminder that there are still numerous duties that need to be allocated across the year. 

More urgently - we need willing volunteers to take on booth OOD & Safety Crew Duties for this Sunday (22nd April).  If you are are available and can help, please either accept either duty online via the Dutyman system - or contact Ian Hill asap via roster@ardleighsc.co.uk.  Many thanks...

 Refresher Sail Training - available to all members & due to run between 2-4pm on Sunday's 15th, 22nd & 29th April 2012. 

A great chance to blow of the dust, and get a full refresher in time for the spring/summer seasons.
